Coolpad Cool Play 8 with dual-lens camera launched in China

Coolpad has launched a new smartphone in China, dubbed Cool Play 8. It is available in China with a price tag of CNY 999.

The Coolpad Cool Play 8 features a 6.28-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 1.5GHz octa-core processor, and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded via an external MicroSD card.

The Cool Play 8 packs a 16-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera on the rear, while there is an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery. It measures 155.50 x 74.80 x 8.50 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 177 grams.

The Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) Coolpad Cool Play 8 accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, FM, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.

The Coolpad Cool Play 8 runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

The Coolpad has recently launched Mega 5M, which comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz quad-core, 1GB of RAM, 16 GB ROM, 5 MP primary camera, and 2000mAH battery.
